About Us
Love Feeds provides weekly home cooked meals for seniors and the disabled in Montgomery and
Philadelphia counties. Unfortunately, in these dire economic times, our ability to purchase critical
items to help our seniors is limited. Simple, yet essential, a cooked meal ensures that not only the
physical needs of one of our community’s most important groups is met, but also serves as a
reminder that an act of kindness makes a world of difference in someone’s life!
The Origin
I have always had a desire to give and I have a passion for cooking. The merger of these two has
created Love Feeds. Unfortunately, with the loss of my beloved son Jason, I now realize we shared a
love for giving to those in need. Jason would always say, “Mom, we are alike.” With his passing, I
have decided to honor his life by creating a program centered on the love we both shared for giving
to those in need.
After moving to California in 2014, Jason’s concern for those in need grew as the homeless crisis in
Los Angeles was something he had never witnessed. Jason would always give and help those he
thought were in need. If it was within his power to help, he provided help. He has even given the
blanket off his own bed to a homeless man who had nothing on a chilly California night, never
passing up the opportunity to provide assistance if it was in his power to do so.
Love Feeds is a program centered on providing for those in need from hearts filled with love and a
passion for sharing. As I see the great need to provide help to those in need and honor Jason’s life, it
is my hope that you will partner with Love Feeds, as we serve those in need.
